Our Projects & Engineering Department is the driving force behind every successful fire protection installation. Backed by decades of combined experience, our team specializes in designing and delivering complete fire protection solutions, including fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, special hazard systems, kitchen suppression systems, and other life safety systems. Every project is developed with a focus on code compliance, quality, and long-term reliability.
From the initial quote through engineering, permitting, material procurement, project management, installation, testing, and final acceptance, we manage every phase of your project with precision and accountability. Whether you're constructing a new facility, expanding an existing building, or completing a complex renovation, our experienced team works closely with owners, contractors, engineers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.
Our commitment doesn't end when construction is complete. We work closely together with our other departments to ensure a seamless transition throughout the life of your fire protection system. This collaborative approach provides continuity, minimizes downtime, and gives our customers confidence that they have a trusted partner for every stage of their fire protection needs.
Sebastian Gardino
Projects Division Manager
With more than two decades of experience in the life-safety industry, Sebastian Gardino began his career in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he developed a deep respect for safety, precision, and service. While on active duty, he earned an Associate of Applied Science in Technology and later transitioned to the fire-protection field, specializing in fire alarm and low-voltage life-safety systems. His technical background includes fire alarm, nurse call, access control, security, and integrated system solutions. Sebastian’s career path has taken him from hands-on technician to service supervisor and ultimately to project manager with Taylor Fire Protection Services, where he now leads the Projects and Engineering Division. Holding a NICET Level III certification in Fire Alarm Systems and the required state licenses, he continues to focus on delivering reliable systems that safeguard people and property and provide genuine peace of mind for every client Taylor Fire serves.
Raised in Alaska, Sebastian is a devoted husband and father who enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. He has completed marathons and triathlons and spends much of his free time hunting, fishing, camping, and tackling home renovation projects. Whether on the job or at home, he lives by the principles of “leave things better than you found them” and “how can I help?”—values that align with Taylor Fire Protection Services’ mission to provide safety, service, and peace of mind through integrity, craftsmanship, and care.
